AsSeenOnPhone Mobile Technology Seminars and Workshops
By In October of 2010, AsSeenOnPhone began facilitating a bi-monthly series of Mobile Tech Seminars on the campus of Illinois Institute of Technology, in the state-of-the-art McCormick Tribune Campus Center. Seminar attendees have consistently been impressed with the vast amount of information provided by the numerous presenters at each of these events, and wanted to take the next step and learn how to apply the information they learned. Thus, we launched AsSeenOnPhone Mobile Tech Workshops, to be held every other month at TechNexus in downtown Chicago.
On April 28, 2011, we held our very first workshop, entitled, ‘AsSeenOnPhone Social Media Workshop,’ at TechNexus. The attendees at the workshop gained a wealth of applied knowledge, conveyed in an intimate setting. The small workshop size allowed for a focused, dynamic relationship between the instructor and participants.
At AsSeenOnPhone, we see the difference between a seminar and a workshop as such: Our seminars provide attendees with an overview of information about a particular subject, and our workshops help participants determine how that subject can be applied for use in their own business or personal requirements. Following the workshop, participants have the option to hire one of our AsSeenOnPhone consultants to create and implement these strategies for their workforce.
